S.I. No. 124/1957:

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (CEREALS) ACT, 1938 (SECTION 19 (2)) ORDER, 1957.

AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (CEREALS) ACT, 1938 (SECTION 19 (2)) ORDER, 1957.

I, SEÁN MOYLAN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of section 19 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938), hereby order as follows :--

1. (1) This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (Section 19 (2)) Order, 1957.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of July, 1957.

2. Pearled barley shall cease to be a scheduled feeding stuff for the purposes of Part III of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1938 (No. 16 of 1938).

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 6th day of June, 1957.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The Order frees pearled barley from import licensing control under the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Acts, 1933-1956.
