S.I. No. 114/1957:

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (TOWN OF KILKEE) ORDER, 1957.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SANITARY SERVICES) ACT, 1948 (SECTION 34) (TOWN OF KILKEE) ORDER, 1957.

The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (2) of section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (No. 3 of 1948) hereby orders as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 (Section 34) (Town of Kilkee) Order, 1957.

2. Section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , shall come into operation in that part of the sanitary district of the County Health District of Clare consisting of the Town of Kilkee on the seventh day after the date of this Order.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this Twenty-fourth day of May One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-seven.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is to bring section 34 of the Local Government (Sanitary Services) Act, 1948 , into operation in the Town of Kilkee. Section 34 of that Act authorises a sanitary authority to grant to the occupier of land within that part of their sanitary district in which that section is in operation, or with the consent of such occupier to a camping organisation, a licence authorising the use during a specified period of twelve consecutive months of such land for camping.
