S.I. No. 11/1957:

HEALTH (OFFICERS' AGE LIMIT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957.

HEALTH (OFFICERS' AGE LIMIT) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1957.

The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers vested in him by sections 13 and 23 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , as adapted by the Health (Transfer of Departmental, Administration and Ministerial Functions) Order, 1947, (S.R. & O., 1947, No. 58), by this his Order declares and orders as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Health (Officers' Age Limit) (Amendment) Order, 1957.

2. Article 2 of the Local Government (Officers' Age Limit) Order, 1946 (S.R. & O., 1946, No. 333) shall cease to apply to the office of Resident Medical Superintendent of Carlow District Mental Hospital.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Health this thirtieth day of January, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Fifty-seven.

EXPLANATORY NOTE.

The effect of this Order is that the age-limit of sixty-five years which applies to certain offices of local authorities ceases to apply to the office of Resident Medical Superintendent of Carlow District Mental Hospital.
