S.I. No. 19/1956:

MINISTER FOR EDUCATION (AGENCY) ORDER, 1956.

MINISTER FOR EDUCATION (AGENCY) ORDER, 1956.

WHEREAS Richard Mulcahy, Minister for Education, is temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Education (Agency) Order, 1956.

2. Thomas Francis O'Higgins, Minister for Health, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Education during the period commencing on the 17th day of February, 1956, and ending on the 16th day of March, 1956.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 17th day of February, 1956.
