S.I. No. 143/1955:

MINISTER FOR POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS (AGENCY) ORDER, 1955.

MINISTER FOR POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS (AGENCY) ORDER, 1955.

WHEREAS Michael Keyes, Minister for Posts and Telegraphs, is temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (Agency) Order, 1955.

2. Brendan Corish, Minister for Social Welfare, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Posts and Telegraphs during the period ending on the 21st day of August, 1955.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 22nd day of July, 1955.
