LONDONDERRY AND LOUGH SWILLY RAILWAY (BRIDGE END -- BUNCRANA ; TOOBAN JUNCTION -- FARLAND POINT) ABANDONMENT ORDER, 1953.

LONDONDERRY AND LOUGH SWILLY RAILWAY (BRIDGE END -- BUNCRANA ; TOOBAN JUNCTION -- FARLAND POINT) ABANDONMENT ORDER, 1953.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 110 of the Transport Act, 1944 (No. 21 of 1944), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway (Bridge End--Buncrana ; Tooban Junction--Farland Point) Abandonment Order, 1953.

2. This Order shall come into operation on the first day of August, 1953.

3. The Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway Company having applied for an order authorising it to abandon the sections of railway line between Bridge End and Buncrana and between Tooban Junction and Farland Point, respectively, is hereby authorised to abandon the line.

GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 1st day of July, 1953.
