REGULATION OF EXPORT (CHRISTMAS SEASON EXEMPTION) ORDER, 1952.

REGULATION OF EXPORT (CHRISTMAS SEASON EXEMPTION) ORDER, 1952.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 2 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (No. 18 of 1947), hereby order as follows :

1. This Order may be cited as the Regulation of Export (Christmas Season Exemption) Order, 1952.

2. In this Order " exemption period " means the period beginning on the 1st day of December, 1952, and ending on the 24th day of that month.

3. Articles 8 and 10 of the Agricultural and Fishery Products (Regulation of Export) Act, 1947 (Export of Poultry and Rabbits) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 302 of 1950 ), shall not apply in respect of an exportation by a person residing in the State of one dead turkey or one dead goose or one dead duck or one dead domestic fowl if it is exported during the exemption period as a gift to a person residing in Great Britain or the Isle of Man.
