S.I. No. 338/1951:

MINISTER FOR FINANCE (AGENCY) ORDER, 1951.

MINISTER FOR FINANCE (AGENCY) ORDER, 1951.

WHEREAS Seán MacEntee, Minister for Finance, will be temporarily unable to discharge the duties of his office during a period commencing on the 24th day of November, 1951 :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Finance (Agency) Order, 1951.

2. Frank Aiken, Minister for External Affairs, is hereby nominated to execute the office of Minister for Finance during the period commencing on the 24th day of November, 1951, and ending on the date on which the said Seán MacEntee resumes the duties of that office.

GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Government, this 23rd day of November, 1951.
