S.I. No. 318/1951:

INFECTIOUS DISEASES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951.

INFECTIOUS DISEASES (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951.

The Minister for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947), hereby makes the following Regulations :--

1. In these Regulations, the expression " the Principal Regulations " means the Infectious Diseases Regulations, 1948 ( S.I. No. 99 of 1948 ).

2. Article 27 of the Principal Regulations shall be amended by inserting before the word " tuberculosis " the words " streptococcal sore-throat ".

3. (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Infectious Diseases (Amendment) Regulations, 1951, and shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1951.

(2) These Regulations shall be construed as one with the Principal Regulations.
