CHEESE (LEVY) ORDER, 1951.

CHEESE (LEVY) ORDER, 1951.

I, THOMAS WALSH, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :

1. This Order may be cited as the Cheese (Levy) Order, 1951, and shall come into operation on the 29th day of August, 1951.

2. The rate of levy on raw cheese delivered on sale (save for the purpose of processing to the holder of a licence to process cheese under section 5 of the Creamery (Amendment) Act, 1934 (No. 33 of 1934)) by persons who are registered proprietors of premises registered in the register of creameries or in the register of cream separating stations kept by the Minister for Agriculture under section 14 of the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924), shall be three shillings and six pence the hundredweight.

3. The Cheese (Levy) Order, 1947 ( S. R. & O. No. 247 of 1947 ), is hereby revoked.
