S.I. No. 116/1950:

FORESHORE ACT, 1933, PROHIBITORY ORDER (No. 1), 1950.

FORESHORE ACT, 1933, PROHIBITORY ORDER (No. 1), 1950.

I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, being of opinion that the removal of beach material from a particular area of seashore at or near Tawlaght and Kilfenora in the County of Kerry, is likely to cause injury to the adjoining public road and railway line, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6 of the Foreshore Act, 1933 (No. 12 of 1933), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :--

1. This Order may be cited as the Foreshore Act, 1933 , Prohibitory Order (No. 1), 1950.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The removal by any person of beach material of any kind, except seaweed, from any part of the area of seashore between the point where the western boundary of the townland of Tawlaght meets the seashore and the point where the eastern boundary of the townland of Kilfenora meets the seashore is hereby prohibited.
