CUSTOMS-FREE AIRPORT (ROAD TRAFFIC) REGULATIONS, 1947. | ||
I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 13 of the Customs-free Airport Act, 1947 (No. 5 of 1947), with the consent of the Minister for Finance, testified by his official seal affixed hereto, hereby make the following regulations :— | ||
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Customs-free Airport (Road Traffic) Regulations, 1947. | ||
2. In these regulations the expression "the airport" means the Customs-free Airport. | ||
3. No person shall drive a vehicle on the main approach road in the airport at a speed exceeding— | ||
(a) between the entrance and the place known as the Camp, thirty miles an hour, | ||
(b) between the place known as the Camp and the terminal building, twenty miles an hour. | ||
4. A person driving a vehicle shall not stop the vehicle for the purpose of setting down or taking up passengers or goods except at the following places— | ||
(a) the place known as the Camp, | ||
(b) the toll-box, | ||
(c) the terminal building. | ||
