THE REGISTRATION OF ELECTORS (ELECTORS LISTS) ORDER, 1924.

The Electoral Act, 1923 , the Local Government Electors Registration Act, 1924 , and the Juries (Amendment) Act, 1924 .

In exercise of the powers vested in me by the Electoral Act, 1923 ; the Local Government Electors Registration Act, 1924 and the Juries (Amendment) Act, 1924 , and of all other powers in this behalf enabling me, I, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, do by this my Order, order and prescribe as follows:—

1. The electors lists for a registration unit shall consist of:—

List A.—A copy of the register in force for the registration unit.

List B.—A list of newly-qualified electors, that is, a list of persons who are qualified for registration as Seanad, Dáil or Local Government electors who are not registered in the register in force or who have become entitled to be registered in a different voting capacity, and showing in respect of each person whose name appears therein whether such person is or is not qualified and liable to serve as a special or general juror or is disqualified or exempted from serving as a juror.

List C.—A list of persons no longer qualified as electors, that is a list of persons who being registered in the register in force have ceased to be entitled to or to be qualified for registration as Dáil or Local Government electors or have become entitled to be registered in a different voting capacity. Provided that a person whose name appears in List C. shall not, unless his name also appears in List B. be deemed to be a person whose name appears in the electors lists so as to enable such person to object to the registration of any person.

2. This Order may be cited as the Registration of Electors (Electors Lists) Order, 1924.
