AN ACT TO EXCLUDE MONEY BORROWED BY A RURAL SANITARY AUTHORITY FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE LABOURERS (IRELAND) ACTS, 1883 TO 1919, FROM COMPUTATION IN RELATION TO THE STATUTORY LIMITATION ON BORROWING BY RURAL SANITARY AUTHORITIES. |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT ÉIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— |

Exclusion of borrowing from statutory limitation. |
1.—(1) Money borrowed, whether before or after the passing of his Act, by a rural sanitary authority for the purposes of the Labourers (Ireland) Acts, 1883 to 1919, shall not be reckoned as part of the debt of such rural sanitary authority for the purpose of the limitation on borrowing contained in section 238 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878. |

(2) Sub-sections (2) and (3) of section 238 of the Public Health (Ireland) Act, 1878, shall cease to be incorporated in the labourers (Ireland) Act, 1883. |

Short title, construction and citation. |
2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Labourers Act, 1930 . |
|
(2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Labourers (Ireland) Acts, 1883 to 1919, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Labourers (Ireland) Acts, 1883 to 1930. |
