"Some time in 1989 the Defendant approached the Plaintiff to sell one of his properties with planning permission for a nursing home. There was some delay. In the mean time he approached for financial help of about £110,000 +. The loan was advanced to defendant with clear understanding that the amount should be paid within few weeks. That sum of money is still outstanding."
