"In my view if I were to allow this evidence to be adduced a lot of matters would have to be reopened potentially and substantial additional costs would be incurred which would inevitably involve duplication because it is not just a question of tacking on some additional evidence, it is a question of recasting the way in which the evidence was adduced in the first instance."
