      LOCAL GOVERNMENT

      The Local Statutory Provisions (Postponement from Repeal) (Scotland) Order 1999

        Made 25th November 1999 
        Laid before the Scottish Parliament 26th November 1999 
        Coming into force 31st December 1999 

      The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 59(6)(b) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

      Citation and commencement
           1. This Order may be cited as the Local Statutory Provisions (Postponement from Repeal) (Scotland) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 31st December 1999.

      Provisions
          
      2.  - (1) The date on which the local statutory provision described in Part I of the Schedule to this Order shall cease to have effect is hereby postponed from 31st December 1999 until 31st July 2000.

          (2) The date on which the local statutory provisions described in Part II of the Schedule to this Order shall cease to have effect is hereby postponed from 31st December 1999 until 31st December 2000.

      The North East Fife District Licensing Board Byelaws 1990.

      The Perth and Kinross District Council Byelaws for the Cleaning of Common Property by the Occupier 1986.

      The Renfrew District Licensing Board Byelaws 1980.

      The Renfrew District Licensing Board Stripper Byelaws 1986.

      The Ross and Cromarty Licensing Board Byelaws 1984[

      Amendment to the Ross and Cromarty Licensing Board Byelaws 1988.

      The Roxburgh District Council Byelaws for the Regulation of Public Parks, Recreation Ground and other open spaces in Roxburgh District 1995.

      The Strathclyde Regional Council Strathclyde Park Byelaws 1977 to the extent that these Byelaws apply to the North Lanarkshire Council Area.

      The Tay Road Bridge Joint Board Byelaws 1966.

      The Tweeddale District Council Management Rules for Parks 1992.

      EXPLANATORY NOTE

      (This note is not part of the Order)

      This Order postpones those local statutory provisions listed in the Schedule to the Order from ceasing to have effect on 31st December 1999 in terms of section 59(6)(b) of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994-

        (a) to 31st July 2000 in the case of the provision specified in Part I to the Schedule; and

        (b) to 31st December 2000 in the case of the provisions specified in Part II to the Schedule.
