LANDED ESTATES COURT (IRELAND) ACT 1858 - SECT 56

Purchase money to be paid into Supreme Court.

56. The purchase money in every case shall be paid [into the Supreme Court of
Judicature of Northern Ireland ("the Supreme Court"), and] a certificate of
such payment shall be endorsed on or written at the foot of the conveyance or
assignment by the judge who shall execute the same; and on such payment ...
the purchaser shall be discharged from all liability in respect of the
application of the money so paid; and such certificate of the judge under the
seal of the Court shall be evidence of the payment.Incumbrancer becoming
purchaser may deduct the amount of his incumbrance from the purchase money,
with leave of Court.
