The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 5(1) of the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) (Amendment) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 12th June 2000.
2. In article 2 of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986(2)-
(a)in paragraph (a), for "£152,000" there shall be substituted "£165,020"; and
(b)in paragraph (b), for "£146,500" there shall be substituted "£158,875".
3. The Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) (Amendment) Order 1998(3), is hereby revoked.

This Order amends article 2(a) of the Gaming (Bingo) Act (Fees) Order 1986 so as to increase from £152,000 to £165,020 the fee payable to the Gaming Board for Great Britain for the issue of a certificate issued by the Board to an organiser of games of multiple bingo under the Schedule to the Gaming (Bingo) Act 1985. This Order also amends article 2(b) of the 1986 Order so as to increase from £146,500 to £158,875 the fee payable to the Gaming Board for Great Britain for the continuing in force, for a period of three years, of such a certificate.
