Decision notes | [2019] UKFTT 723 (PC). Application by Applicant to register a charge against Respondent’s title to secure a specific sum and signed the Land Registry Form CH1. The Respondent argued that his signature had been forged and that in any event he had repaid the sum secured to the Applicant. Applicant conceded that Respondent had repaid the sum due but argued that she was still entitled to registration of the charge due to the existence of other proceedings between the same parties. Her application was refused. |
