1964 c.21 106.(1) Subject to the provisions of this Part, a parental rights order shall continue in force until the child with respect to whom it was made attains the age of eighteen. (2) A parental rights order may be discharged on application made to a juvenile court by notice under Part VIII of the Magistrates' Courts Act (Northern Ireland) 1964 (a)where the order was made by virtue of paragraph (a) of subsection (1) of section 104, by a person claiming to be the parent or guardian of the child or by a relative, next-of-kin or friend of the child; (b)where the order was made by virtue of paragraph (b), (c) or (d) of that subsection, by the parent or guardian of the child or by a relative, next-of-kin or friend of the child; (c)in either case, by [the Ministry of Home Affairs] ...; Powers of juvenile court to deal with persons in the care of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
