The OFT Registers of Undertakings and Orders (Available Hours) Order 2003

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by sections 91(6) and 166(6) of the Enterprise Act 2002[1] hereby makes the following Order -
Citation, commencement and interpretation 1.
This Order may be cited as the OFT Registers of Undertakings and Orders (Available Hours) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 20th June 2003.

In this Order "the register" means a register maintained by the OFT under section 91 or 166 of the Enterprise Act 2002 and "working day" means any day which is not Saturday, Sunday, Good Friday, Christmas Day, a bank holiday in England and Wales or any other day on which the office of the OFT at which the register is available to the public is closed for business.
Available Hours 3.
The OFT shall ensure that the contents of the register are available to the public (as a minimum) between the hours of 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on any working day.

This Order specifies the minimum hours during which the OFT must ensure that the contents of the registers of undertakings and orders that it maintains for the purposes of Part 3 (mergers) and Part 4 (market investigations) of the Enterprise Act 2002 are available to the public. The hours specified are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on any working day.
