(This note is not part of the Regulations)
The Environmental Protection (Applications, Appeals and Registers) Regulations 1991 (S.I. 1991/507) ("the 1991 Regulations") prescribe various matters in respect of applications, appeals and registers in connection with integrated pollution control and air pollution control under Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 ("the 1990 Act").
The 1991 Regulations were amended by the Environmental Protection (Applications, Appeals and Registers) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/667). The amendments included the substitution of a new regulation 15, which prescribes the particulars required to be included in registers maintained by enforcing authorities under section 20 of the 1990 Act.
These Regulations amend the substituted regulation 15 so as to require registers to contain all particulars of any representations made by persons required to be consulted under paragraph 2, 6 or 7 of Schedule 1 to the 1990 Act. Such particulars were prescribed by paragraph (c) of the original regulation 15 of the 1991 Regulations.
