The Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2007
Coming into force
14th January 2008
The Registrar General makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 39B(1)(b) and (2)(a) and 54(1)(b) of the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Scotland) Act 1965() and all other powers enabling him to do so.
The Scottish Ministers() have approved the making of these Regulations in accordance with section 54(1) of that Act.
Citation and commencement
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2007 and come into force on 14th January 2008.
Notification of deaths to third parties
2. In the Registration of Births, Still-births, Deaths and Marriages (Prescription of Forms) (Scotland) Regulations 1997()–
(a)
after regulation 17 insert–
"17A. The application prescribed for the purposes of section 39B(1)() shall be in the form set out in Schedule 15A.
17B. The notice prescribed for the purposes of section 39B(2) shall be in the form set out in Schedule 15B."; and
(b)
after Schedule 15 insert Schedules 15A and 15B set out in Schedules 1 and 2 to these Regulations.
