      INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT

      The International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2001

        Made 10th December 2001 
        Coming into force 17th December 2001 

      The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 30(2) of the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001[1], hereby make the following Order:

      Citation
           1. This Order may be cited as the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001 (Commencement) Order 2001.

      Appointed Day
          
      2. The provisions of the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001, in so far as not already in force, shall come into force on 17th December 2001.

      EXPLANATORY NOTE

      (This note is not part of the Order)

      This Order brings the provisions of the International Criminal Court (Scotland) Act 2001, in so far as not already in force, into force on 17th December 2001.

      Section 30 of the 2001 Act came into force on Royal Assent on 24th September 2001.
