LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1972 - SECT 67

Application of unexpended portion of borrowed money.

67. The balance of any money borrowed by a council and not required for the
purposes for which the money was borrowed may be applied

(a)in or towards the repayment of a sum borrowed by the council; or

(b)with the approval of the Ministry, to any other purpose to which capital
money may be applied.
