TRUSTEE APPOINTMENT ACT 1850


TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      Property acquired for religious or educational purposes, and conveyed
           to trustees or others, to vest in their successors for the time
           being without conveyance.
   3.      Appointment of new trustees.
   4.      Extent of Act.
   2.      Interpretation of terms.
   3.      High Court may by order convey estates of lunatic trustees and
           mortgagees in lands.
   4.      High Court may by order release or convey contingent rights of
           lunatic trustees and mortgagees in lands.
   5.      High Court may make orders as to rights to transfer stock or sue
           for choses in action of lunatic trustees and mortgagees.
   6.      Power to vest right to transfer stock, &c. of deceased person,
           where personal representative is a lunatic.
   20.     Power to appoint a person to convey or assign lands, or release
           contingent rights.
   26.     Effect of an order vesting the legal right to transfer stock.
   27.     Effect of an order vesting legal right to sue for a chose in
           action.
   30.     Court to declare what parties are trustees of lands comprised in
           any suit, and as to the interests of persons unborn.
   31.     Power to make directions how the right to any stock, &c. vested
           under this Act is to be exercised.

   42.     High Court may dismiss petition with or without costs, or make an
           order thereon.
   45.     Powers of this Act may be exercised for purpose of vesting lands,
           &c. in trustees of charities.
   48.     Money of infants and persons of unsound mind to be paid into
           court.

   52.     On petition concerning any person of unsound mind, High Court may
           direct a commission to issue.
   53.     Order may be postponed until the rights are declared in a suit.
