STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1958 - SECT 9

Limitation of actions founded on tort.

9.(1) Subject to sub-section (2) and to [sections 9A, 9B and 10], an action
founded on tort shall not be brought after the expiration of six years from
the date on which the cause of action accrued

(2) [An action claiming damages for slander] shall not be brought after the
expiration of three years from the date on which the cause of action accrued
