SUPPLEMENTARY BENEFITS &C. ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1966 - LONG TITLE



An Act to provide for the dissolution of the National Assistance Board for
Northern Ireland and for the transfer of their functions to the Ministry of
Health and Social Services and a Supplementary Benefits Commission for
Northern Ireland established under this Act; to replace the National
Assistance Act (Northern Ireland) 1948 by provisions giving rights to
non-contributory benefit; to enact further provisions relating to the said
Ministry; and for purposes connected with those matters. [9th August 1966] The
Act was repealed by 1977 NI 27 art.42(3) sch.7 Pt.I. Section 26 (printed
below) was revived with retrospective effect by 1980 NI 8 art.15(3)
