SHOPS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1946 - SECT 6



6. Every shop shall, save as otherwise provided by this Act, be closed for the
serving of customers on Sunday:

Provided that nothing in this Part of this Act or in any order made thereunder
(other than an order made under the next succeeding section) shall prohibit
any of the transactions mentioned in the Second Schedule to this Act, nor,
subject to the provisions of that Schedule and to the provisions of section
ten of this Act regarding mixed trading, the keeping open of any shop in which
the sole business carried on consists exclusively of any one or more of such
transactions, so long as any condition imposed by that Schedule in relation to
such transaction or transactions is complied with in all respects.
