PETROLEUM (TRANSFER OF LICENCES) ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1937 - LONG TITLE



An Act to make provision with respect to the transfer of petroleum-spirit
licences granted under the Petroleum (Consolidation) Act (Northern Ireland),
1929.{1}
[6th May 1937] >Transfer of petroleum-spirit licences. <1929 c.13   the licence shall authorise the keeping of petroleum-spirit by the transferee and shall cease to authorise the keeping thereof by any other person; C >>( b )  the said Act shall have effect in relation to the licence as if for references in the said Act to the person to whom the licence was granted there had been substituted references to the transferee, and the licence shall have effect, unless the context otherwise requires, as if the like substitution had been made in the licence; C >>( c )  subject as aforesaid, the licence shall have the like effect in all respects as if no transfer had been made. B>(3) The said Act shall have effect, and shall be deemed always to have had effect, as if the foregoing provisions of this section had been contained in the said Act as originally enacted. B>(4) In respect of a transfer of a petroleum-spirit licence made after the commencement of this Act, there shall be payable by the transferee to the local authority or to the Ministry of Home Affairs{2}, as the case may be, a fee of [{3} #0.50]
