NAVAL PRIZE (PROCEDURE) ACT 1916 - SECT 2

Extension of powers to transfer proceedings in Prize Courts.

2. Section one of the Prize Courts Act, 1915 (which relates to the transfer of
proceedings against a ship or cargo from one prize court to another), shall be
extended so as to apply, with the necessary modifications, to all proceedings
pending at any time in a prize court, whether or not the proceedings are

Provided that where the proceedings are against a person in the service of His
Majesty, or of the Government of any part of His Majesty's Dominions, or of
any Government department, the court shall (except in the case of proceedings
