MAGISTRATES' COURTS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1964 - SECT 59

Remand for inquiry into physical or mental condition.

59.(1) Where a person has been convicted of an offence by a
court of summary jurisdiction and the case has been adjourned or where a
person has been remanded under section 58 he may be sentenced or otherwise
dealt with for that offence by any court of summary jurisdiction acting for
the same petty sessions district or any other petty sessions district of the
same [county court division] as the court by which he was convicted or
remanded as aforesaid.
