MINES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1969 - SECT 138



138. If a young person is employed at a mine in contravention of the
provisions of this Act or regulations, the parent of the young person shall be
guilty of an offence and liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not
exceeding twenty pounds, unless it appears to the court that the contravention
occurred without the consent, connivance or wilful default of the parent.
