LANDLORD AND TENANT (IRELAND) ACT 1870 - SECT 39

Costs of distribution of purchase money.

39. Where any purchase moneys have been so lodged in Court or in the
prescribed bank, provision shall be made in the prescribed manner with the
sanction of the Treasury for the payment without cost to the persons entitled
to any estate or interest in or having charges upon the holding so sold of any
principal or interest moneys to which such persons may be entitled in respect
of such estate and interest: Provided that any provision so made shall not
extend to any expense caused by disputed titles, or any expense incurred by
the failure of any person to comply with the rules for the time being in force
relating to the distribution of such purchase moneys.
