IRISH BANKRUPT AND INSOLVENT ACT 1857 - SECT 296

Court may direct investment.

296. The Court may, from time to time, direct that the whole or any part of
the monies standing to the credit of said unclaimed dividend account shall be
invested in the public funds.]

Bankrupt allowed to retain as "excepted articles," furniture, tools, &c.
