CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1968 - SECT 172

Service of documents.

172.(1) Any notice required or authorised by this Act to be served on the
persons carrying on, or intending to carry on, a voluntary home shall be
deemed to be duly served on those persons if served on any one of them, and if
served by post may be so served on any one such person by being addressed to
him at the home.

(2) Any notice or other document required or authorised by this Act to be
served on the managers of a training school may, ... be served upon any one of
the managers, or their secretary, or the person for the time being in charge
of the school.

(3) The provisions of this section shall have effect without prejudice to any
other method of service authorised under section 24 of the Interpretation Act
(Northern Ireland) 1954.
