CHILDREN AND YOUNG PERSONS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1968 - SECT 148



148. There may be defrayed out of moneys provided by Parliament

(a)any expenses incurred by the Ministry in carrying the provisions of
this Act into effect, including (without prejudice to the generality of the
foregoing words) expenditure incurred in connection with the provision,
maintenance, enlargement or improvement of remand homes or attendance centres
or the maintenance of training schools and expenditure incurred in the payment
of any grant which the Ministry is authorised to pay under the succeeding
provisions of this Part; and

(b)any increase attributable to any provisions of this Act in any sums which
fall to be so defrayed under the provisions of any other enactment.
