CORONERS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1959 - SECT 27

Post-mortem examination.

27.(1) Where on any inquest it appears to a coroner that the cause of death
has not been satisfactorily explained to him, he may, ..., employ a registered
medical practitioner on the list mentioned in section twenty-six to perform a
complete post-mortem examination.
