CORONERS ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1959 - SECT 24

Authority for burial where inquest unnecessary.

24.(1) Where a coroner decides that an inquest is unnecessary he shall issue
his authority to bury the body, and shall forthwith transmit to the registrar
of deaths a statement setting forth briefly the result of the investigation
and the grounds on which the authority was issued.

(2) Such statement shall contain particulars of the cause of death sufficient
to enable the registrar of deaths to register the death.
