CONSTABULARY (IRELAND) ACT 1836 - SECT 5



5. ... every... inspector general and deputy inspector general shall, on his
appointment to such office, forthwith take before any two magistrates the
oaths by law required to be taken by justices of the peace in Ireland, and
also the oath herein-after contained,....
