THE INDUSTRIAL TRIBUNALS
CASE REF: 113/12
CLAIMANT: Amanda Connolly
RESPONDENT: Paul Phillips
DECISION
The decision of the
tribunal is that the respondent do pay to the claimant the sum of £273.00 in
respect of unpaid holiday pay.
Constitution of
Tribunal:
Chairman (sitting
alone): Mr D Buchanan
Appearances:
The
claimant appeared in person and was not represented.
The
respondent did not enter a response, nor did he appear at the hearing.
1. The second-named respondent, Ashleigh
Phillips, is dismissed from the proceedings. The claimant accepts that Ms
Phillips was not her employer.
2(1) I am satisfied from the evidence of the
claimant that she is entitled to the sum of £273.00 in respect of unpaid
holiday pay. She wrote to the respondent asking for payment, but he did not
reply to her letter.
(ii) I now order that the respondent do pay her
the said sum of £273.00.
3. This is a relevant decision for the purposes
of the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.
