Notice of the making of this Statutory Instrument was published in

“Iris Oifigiúil” of 9th November, 2021.

I, JACK CHAMBERS, Minister of State at the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 11 (1) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012) (as adapted by the Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 403 of 2020 )) and the Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2020 ( S.I. No. 547 of 2020 ), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (Designation of Irish Language Networks) Order 2021.

2. A community specified in the Schedule is designated to be an Irish Language Network for the purposes of section 11(1) of the Gaeltacht Act 2012 (No. 34 of 2012).

SCHEDULE

Irish Language Network: Loughrea, Co. Galway

(1) The following electoral division areas: Loughrea Urban and Loughrea Rural

Irish Language Network: Clondalkin, Co. Dublin

(1) The following electoral division areas: Clondalkin Village, Clondalkin-Dunawley and Clondalkin-Monastery

Irish Language Network: Ennis, Co. Clare

(1) The following Settlement: Ennis
