ENVIRONMENT (DELEGATION OF MINISTERIAL FUNCTIONS) ORDER, 1995.

The Government, on the request of the Minister for the Environment and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2 (1) of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 1977 (No. 28 of 1977), hereby order as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Environment (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order, 1995.

2. All the powers and duties of the Minister for the Environment conferred--

( a ) by the Acts, or parts of the Acts, specified in the First Schedule to this Order, and

( b ) under the statutory instruments specified in the Second Schedule to this Order,

are hereby delegated to Liz McManus, Minister of State at the Department of the Environment.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1979 (No. 27 of 1979)

Housing Act, 1988 (No. 28 of 1988).

Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1992 (No. 18 of 1992). Parts I to IV and VI to VIII of the Housing Act, 1966 (No. 21 of 1966).

Urban Renewal Act, 1986 (No. 19 of 1986), sections 4, 6 and 7.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 1988 ( S.I. No. 362 of 1988 ).

Housing (Sale of Dwellings) Regulations, 1993 ( S.I. No. 267 of 1993 ).
