Mercantile court seeks to resolve business cases that do not require trial by High Court Judges in the full Commercial Court. Less complex cases are dealt with faster and at proportionate cost. In addition parties are able to use the Central London Mediation Scheme for alternative dispute resolution.

The court is also part of the south eastern circuit and hears mercantile cases outside London.

Hearings of the London Mercantile Court take place at the Royal Courts of Justice. General enquires should be made to Room EB13, The Registry, Royal Courts of Justice, Strand - 020 7947 6112 or by e-mail to ComCt.Registry@hmcourts-service.gsi.gov.uk.
