COMPANIES (NORTHERN IRELAND) ORDER 1978 - SECT 111



111.(1) A person who, in purported compliance with a requirement imposed under
Article 107 to provide an explanation or make a statement, provides or makes
an explanation or statement which he knows to be false in a material
particular or recklessly provides or makes an explanation or statement which
is so false shall be guilty of an offence.

(2) A person guilty of an offence under this Article shall be liable

(a)on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two
years, or to a fine, or to both;

(b)on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three
months, or to a fine not exceeding #200, or to both.
